This 9ct Gold, Red Rose of Lancaster charm is hand enamelled and is available in two sizes. These charms are of a stunning design and have been beautifully made by experts with hand enamelling detail including both red and dark green enamel and can be worn either as a charm hung on a bracelet or alternatively, hung on a chain as a necklace.
The Red Rose’s connection with Lancashire originated with Henry III as a golden rose and later used by reigning monarchs with the first Duke of Lancaster making it red in the 13th century. Later on it became apparent in the famous ‘War of the Roses‘ between Yorkshire and Lancashire and is still renowned today.
