9ct Gold Reversible Royal Arch Blue Oval Masonic Ring
This 9ct Gold Masonic Royal Arch signet ring is an oval shaped masonic ring and is made from 9ct Yellow Gold. The Freemasons Royal Arch symbol is hand enameled in blue enamel onto the head of the signet ring. The signet ring head is reversible therefore displays either the masonic royal arch symbol ring or a plain signet ring (which can be engraved with initials if required). The ring has a good quality head and shank and is designed to be worn every day.

A signet ring is a timeless classic piece of jewellery and has played an important part throughout history. Originating from the Latin word ‘signum’ which means ‘sign’, they were often engraved very deeply (seal engraved) with a personal family crest and used by many as a seal. This involved pressing the head of the ring which included the deep engraving into hot wax which would provide an inprint on letters or also, legal documents. Signet ring seals were historically known to be the most authentic way of signing a document, (even more so than a fingerprint!) with the rings being disposed of after the person passed. Today however, they are frequently passed down within a family line from member to member.
