The White Gold Yorkshire Rose necklace has been beautifully made by experts and is supplied on an 18 inch, 9 Carat White Gold chain although can alternatively be hung as a charm on a charm bracelet.
The White Rose’s connection with York and Yorkshire has numerous stories and the actual origin in unknown, however, it is thought that it was first used by the Duke of York in the 14th Century. Later on it was then adopted by the City of York and became apparent in the famous ‘War of the Roses‘ between Yorkshire and Lancashire and is still renowned today.
This necklace make the perfect gift either as a memento of a visit to York or Yorkshire or often proudly worn by someone originating from Yorkshire!
