Pre Owned Full Sovereign Mount | Scroll Top | 9ct Yellow Gold | Pendant or Charm

Full sovereign mount with scroll top design – plain, yet elegant, to wear. Holds any 22.05mm British Full Sovereign coin and can be worn as a pendant around the neck on a chain or alternatively hung on a charm bracelet as a sovereign charm. 

Sovereigns were first introduced and produced by The Royal Mint in 1489 and are the most trusted bullion coin. Sovereigns are recognised worldwide by investors and have a great new and second hand value therefore making for easy buying and selling. Sovereign bullion coins may often also be chosen as a form of investment due to their high gold content which is also free from VAT, exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents and also, are still considered legal UK tender.

This sovereign mount is a bezel style with jump ring fastening which makes it very easy to mount a sovereign coin. To mount the sovereign, the jump ring needs to be removed, the bezel placed around the coin and the jump ring reattached through the two loops to secure and tighten.

The mount is 27.5 mm in height including the scroll top design (excluding the jump ring). It requires a 22.05mm British Full Sovereign – Please note, this does not include the sovereign or the chain.
