White Rose of Yorkshire Silver Charm with leaf detail 13.5 mm
This Sterling Silver, Yorkshire Rose charm is hand enamelled and is available in two sizes. These silver 925 charms are of a stunning design and have been beautifully made by experts with hand enamelling detail including both white and green enamel and can be worn either as a charm for bracelet or alternatively, hung on a chain as a charm for necklace.
The White Rose’s connection with York and Yorkshire has numerous stories and the actual origin in unknown, however, it is thought that it was first used by the Duke of York in the 14th Century. Later on it was then adopted by the City of York (it is also known as it is a part of the Tudor Rose) and became apparent in the famous ‘War of the Roses’ between Yorkshire and Lancashire and is still renowned today.
