Capodimonte figurines are the ultimate collector’s item!
Having originated in 1736 by King Charles III of Naples in the village of Capodimonte, this figurine porcelain is of the finest quality known. The capodimonte ornaments are all handmade and are renowned for both the very fine detail and also the richness of the colours used. The ultra fine porcelain mix has always and will always, remain a secret and the world has seen no quality equal to it. Sadly, many of the sculptors have now passed away, therefore the secrets of production have died away with the old masters. Each and every piece is made slightly differently whether this be an inclination of the head, a glance of the eye or a different shade of muffler, hence each piece is truly an original and an individual work of art!
These pieces are growing in value over time and are truly collector’s items. R.A.Braithwaite is one of the last capodimonte dealers uk still with NEW products.
Please note – all sizing is approximate. This capo di monte piece will be delivered to anywhere in the UK free of charge.
